Vision statement / Artistic goals: To encourage and promote the study, practice and appreciation of the art of choral singing, provide members with the opportunity to learn and perform significant choral works at the highest achievable level, and to provide the community with quality music at an affordable price

Musical Director: Douglas Heywood OAM

No. of years in current post: since 1974

Previous musical experience: Douglas Heywood OAM, well-known as the Choral Director of Channel Nine's "Carols By Candlelight", and the second of only two Conductors of Camberwell Chorale since its founding in 1944

Choir's past collaborations with other musical groups: Camberwell Chorale is normally accompanied by the Camerata Orchestra, founded by its Musical Director in 1975, and has enjoyed past collaborations with the Box Hill Chorale and West Gippsland Chorale
