Vision statement / Artistic goals: The aim of the choir is to expose a broad range of people, cultures and generations to the joy of singing in a group, in beautiful harmony; it is a non-competitive or exclusive choir open to all abilities, and it is about having fun

Previous musical experience: Maryanne currently leads the experimental vocal ensemble Taos, a nine voice choir that combines art, pop and jazz; their EP "Free Fall" was hailed "An extraordinary vocal album" and debuted to a packed crowd and supported by jazz great, Stephen Magnusson; Maryanne has been teaching music for over 5 years with a focus on creativity, confidence and developing technical ability; she has a sound knowledge of vocal anatomy with Estill as her source of information; Maryanne is the musical director of Northern Voices Community Choir in Thornbury and regularly runs vocal workshops
